The planning intervention that I propose is very subtle, deriving from development trends taking place in Ajami, and the subsequent social problems and threats that the native Arab population faces. Gentrification in the neighborhood brought along with it, and continues to today, as in most neighborhoods that undergo a process of "renewal", the displacement of the native population. I see the placing of signs in Arabic, side by side with the Hebrew, a symbolic and physical recognition of the native population as residents and the first step in the process of true rehabilitation.
